Madoda DlaminiA distinction graduate in Graphic design, Madoda has proved his mettle at Young & Rubicam, Hunt Lascaris TBWA, Leo Burnett, Saatchi & Saatchi  and Gitam. Madoda was the recipient of the Nelson Mandela Scholarship for Young Leaders of Tomorrow with the opportunity to work at ChaitDay TBWA in New York. Due to family tragedy that year that dream was not to be realized.
Madoda has done great work for brands such as Bally Spitz, Cola- Cola, SAA, Snickers, Glaxo, Standard Chartered Bank, IBM and Old Mutual to mention a few. Having notched up valuable experience in advertising, Madoda gravitated back to his first love – communication design, consulting on design strategy and branding. A vocal and opinionated individual on branding, Madoda has been widely quoted in various media through the years.
Madoda has served on various industry bodies in varying capacities; board member of CAFÉ (Communication & Advertising Forum for Empowerment), THINK (South African Graphik Design Council), former Vice President (Design South Africa), member of NAD (Network of African Designers). He has served on the design education committee of SAQA (South African Qualifications Authority) and on the advisory council to design department at UJ (University of Johannesburg).
Time permitting, Madoda baffles and corrupts young minds in his role as guest lecturer in design and advertising at UJ (University of Johannesburg) and Design Institute.
Madoda is founder and Design Director at Storm Communications, a communications design company and has worked closely with the President of the ANC – Jacob Zuma on social projects particularly within the education sector. Brand consultant to Princess Nomkhosi Zulu, Princess Bukhosibemvelo Zulu  daughters of His Majesty, the King, Goodwill Zwelithini Ka-Bhekuzulu (the Descendant of the Great King Shaka) & Her Royal Highness, Queen Mantfombi Zulu (the Daughter of the Late King Sobhuza II, of Swaziland – and sister of the Reigning Swaziland Monarch, King Mswati III), and Duke of Kwakhangela, Sipho Nyawo on their personal branding and related social and commercial projects within South Africa, DRC and Angola.
